Mwangi Gichuhi wins PATRON'S PUTTER GOLF DAY at Thika Sports Club

Jambo Teeboxi fam! Your favourite club correspondent is back with the juicy details from the PATRON'S PUTTER GOLF DAY, played on a spooky Saturday, 31 October 2026. Seems like some ghouls were helping out, especially on Hole 11, our easiest, averaging a sweet 3.97, while Hole 17 was a real nightmare, playing 2.15 over par!

Our overall Nett Winner, Mwangi Gichuhi, clearly wasn't spooked, taking Division 4 with a commanding 43 points, leaving Robert Mugwe six shots in his dust. Mwangi truly earned that win! In Division 1, Mercy Murage showed Judy Waihenya who's boss, winning by 2 points with a cool 40, while Alex Nderitu just edged out Walter Njenga by a single point in Division 2, also with 40. Vincent Karumba wasn't letting Shanket Shah get close, beating him by 2 points to claim Division 3 with his 40 points. And let's not forget the maestro, SAMUEL NJOROGE (PRO), who was our overall Gross Winner with a spectacular -2! Looks like the rest of you need to hit the range, but for now, congratulations to all our winners – the rest of you, better luck next time!
