Paul Wangombe wins BRITAM GOLF TOURNAMENT at Nyahururu Country Club

Jambo, Teeboxi fam! Your favourite club correspondent here, fresh off the greens after a rather spooky Saturday, 31 October 2026, for the Britam Golf Tournament. While some were probably plotting their Halloween costumes, our golfers were busy plotting their next shot – and trust me, some of those shots on the devilish Hole 13 (averaging a whopping 2.05 over par!) were truly terrifying.

But let's talk winners, shall we? In Division 1, Simon Ngugi edged out John Njuguna, but only just – zero points separated them! Talk about a photo finish! Samuel Njenga clearly had a great day, bagging the Gross Winner for Division 1 AND the Overall Gross Winner title. Not too shabby, eh? Over in Division 2, Paul Wangombe absolutely crushed it with a fantastic 41 points, leaving Winnie Awour three points in his dust. Paul wasn't just king of Division 2, he also took home the coveted Overall Nett Winner title – what a legend! Albert Maara also had a brilliant round to be the Division 2 Gross Winner.

So, while some of us were enjoying the blissful ease of Hole 8 (averaging a delightful 3.97), our champions were navigating the course like pros. Congratulations to all the winners, and for those who didn't quite make the podium, there's always next time to practise those putts – maybe even on Hole 13! Until then, keep those swings sweet!
