Zakaria King'Ori wins OCTOBER BABIES GOLF DAY at Ruiru Sports Club

Jambo Teeboxi fam! Your favourite club correspondent here, fresh off the greens from the OCTOBER BABIES GOLF DAY held on Saturday, 31 October 2026. It seems the October babies came out to play, and boy did they deliver!

Big shout out to ZAKARIA King'Ori, who not only took home the Division 1 prize with a superb 44 points but also clinched the coveted Overall Nett Winner title! Bruno Macharia, you played your heart out, but Zakaria was just too hot to handle. And a special mention to Salum Nkurunziza( cdy), our Overall Gross Winner and Division 1 Gross Winner – clearly a day for the big hitters!

In Division 2, MOSES KIHARA absolutely ran away with it, scoring 39 points and leaving Samuel MBIRIRI a full 4 points behind. Moses even snagged the Division 2 Gross Winner title – talk about a dominant performance! Looks like the 13th hole, our easiest of the day, was kind to many, but the 4th hole, playing nearly two shots over par, certainly gave a few of you a fright! Till next time, keep those swings smooth and your putts true!
