Zipporah Gitonga wins MALINDI VS DIAMOND LEISURE FRIENDLY STAB at Malindi Golf Club

Jambo Teeboxi fam! Your favourite club correspondent here, fresh off the green from the Malindi vs Diamond Leisure Friendly Stab played on Saturday, 31 October 2026. What a day for golf, though Hole 6 certainly had its villainous moments, playing a hefty 2.44 shots over par on average! Meanwhile, Hole 4 was practically giving away birdies – maybe that's where Zipporah Gitonga found her magic touch, bagging the overall Nett Winner title with a fantastic 39 points! She also conquered Division 1, leaving Ali Abdallah a whole 3 points in her dust. Kahaso(Cdy) Charo proved his mettle by taking the overall Gross Winner title, and also the Gross in Division 1.

Not to be outdone, Henry Chipinde truly had a day to remember, claiming both the Division 2 winner's spot and the Gross for his division with a stellar 38 points, giving Halima Haji a 3-point headache. For those who didn't quite make the podium, don't worry, the course will be waiting for your redemption. Until next time, keep those swings sweet!
