Douglas Njenga wins October Monthly Mug at Vet Lab Sports Club

Habari za mashimo, Teeboxi family! Your favourite correspondent here, fresh off the greens from the October Monthly Mug played on Friday, 30 October 2026. What a day it was, proving that even the easiest hole, Hole 9 (averaging a sweet 5), couldn't save everyone from the clutches of Hole 3, which decided to play hard to get, averaging a whopping 6.03 strokes!

The overall nett winner, Douglas Njenga, clearly tamed the beast, shooting a fantastic 67. He also walked away with Division 4 honours, leaving Mr. Charles Ndegwa just one shot short of glory – *pole sana*, Charles! In Division 1, Mwaura Ndungu showed Jack Mureithi how it's done, beating him by a cool 2 shots with a 69. Aggrey Oriwo, bless his heart, clinched Division 2 with a 72, leaving Njani Ndiritu in a dead heat – talk about a photo finish! And Kumar Shah made sure Mr. Abhinav Nehra knew who was boss in Division 3, winning by a comfortable 3 shots.

A special shout-out to Isaiah Omwoyo (Pro), who clinched the overall Gross Winner title with a magnificent -1! Looks like some of you need to take notes from the pros, or at least from Douglas Njenga. Until next time, keep those swings smooth and those putts dropping!
